Your Caregivers
About the Owner, Callie
I’m so catty.
Callie Largent is the founder and owner of Great Catsby Care LLC. She is a Kansas native who relocated to NoVA in 2020 after getting married. She parted with a federal government career in 2015 and dove into the field of animal care by volunteering and working at no-kill shelters. In 2016, she launched her own successful cat sitting business in the Kansas City area because she knew first-hand how hard it is to find reliable, cat-savvy care. After getting married, she moved her business to NoVA to cater to the on-the-go workforce. Her favorite variety of “catnip” is dark chocolate with sea salt. She loves traveling, photography, and spending time with her family and two rescue cats: Raylan and Zoe Bee. She recently became a Certified Dementia Practioner (CDP) to create more meaningful connections with clients in assisted living and memory care.
Morgan, Cat Sitter
Her flair for creative writing shines through in her detailed visit reports.
Morgan started her animal care career at the Humane Society of Fairfax County in 2012 where she spent 8 years learning to connect with anxious felines. She furthered her expertise in feline behavior and medical care at the Just Cats Clinic in Reston until she joined our team in October 2023. Morgan aspires to become a certified feline behaviorist and assist clients with their cats’ behavioral challenges. In her free time, she likes reading, cooking, gardening, making cat toys, and spending time with her husband and two cats, Maui and Jupiter.
Tim, Incidental Cat Sitter
Callie’s partner, cat caregiver, and emergency support.
Tim and Callie married in 2020 and combined households - his two kids and her two cats. Tim attracts cats unintentionally wherever he goes, so clearly Callie’s positive influence has rubbed off on him. Although he has long denied being a “cat person,” he finally admitted half the photos on his phone are of Callie’s cat Zoe who decided Tim was her one true love. She now routinely ignores her adoptive mom in favor of sitting in his lap and attending video-teleconferences. Although Tim is employed by the federal government, he is a capable cat caregiver and excels at keeping calm and making sound decisions during emergencies. He provides occasional support when issues arise so care services can continue seamlessly.
Jacob, Cat Sitter
Welcome our new purrfessional cat sitter!
Jacob is a Virginia native who has cherished and cared for cats throughout his life. His greatest joy is his 13-year-old Sphynx rescue cat named Charlie. Charlie’s extensive medical needs which include oral medications, inhalers, and injections have greatly enhanced Jacob’s ability to provide care to cats with complex medical issues. He firmly believes every cat has the potential to thrive under the right circumstances, and he is dedicated to providing the same level of love and care to your pets as he provides to his own. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, songwriting, and taking Charlie on leashed walks around the block.
Board of Directors
Raylan: Chairman
The responsible one. Observant, refined and intelligent. Makes sound decisions after carefully weighing all the options. Believes order, structure, and extra treats are key to happiness. Extremely vocal when his humans do not feed him on time.
Zoe Bee: Vice Chair
The outgoing and sassy one. Ready to take risks and dive fluff first into ambiguous situations. Believes her humans need a little excitement in their lives and offers that by stealthily chewing on all the electrical cords in the house.
Finn: Secretary
The youngster fresh out of the shelter. Listens carefully and has ambition but gets easily distracted when catnip is present. Often caught sleeping on the job or watching the squirrels with his stuffed animal bestie named Marmelade.
